Well done Renegade. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Accepted by me.16/04/2021 at 11:20 in reply to: Jake Goldberg: Pacman (Arcade 5+1) 3,333,360 high score submission #2310
Unequivocal Yes from me. The rise of Jake from newbie to joining the ranks of perfection has been beyond my wildest comprehension. I even had a look on messenger last night to see when Jon messaged me to tell me that Jake was playing Pac-man..25th November 2020…which if i’m not mistaken was 141 days from then to Perfect. I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of something very special. Congratulations Jake & thank you for making a Pac-Man geek very very happy. Well done brother!
Oh no…i hope you didn’t take my comment badly Jake…you can play anytime you want..i can always watch the vid. I was just generalising really..whether it’s Justin in NYC or Barra in NZ..i always think it’s bedtime & i’ll just watch for 10 minutes, then they get a game going and it’s 4am before you know it. It wasn’t personal mate.
I agree with Jake..i love the fact there’s a “finite” end to the game on board 256 a bit like DK’s L22-1 & that there’s a maximum possible score. My dislike is the timezones around the world. In the UK, if Jon starts a game somewhere around 6pm (ish) & gets to the desert, then i know if he goes all the way I can get to bed just after midnight..if the guys in the US start a game somewhere around 6pm their time, that’s 11pm for the UK with a potential finish time of 5am in the morning.
Easy accept Jake. Congratulations on a fabulous game. More to come I suspect. Well done buddy.
Hi Francois…I’d love to be able to add in the data you’d like to see but unlike Pac-man Factory Speed Perfect’s i certainly have no idea where to locate data for number of perfect’s on Turbo or Mame Factory Speed…I “may” be able to contact 3 or 4 of the guys on those lists & ask them and will even speak to David Race & see if he can provide the info…but i seriously doubt we’ll be able to find all of the data. I “may” be able to speak to Tim, Don, possibly Neil, possibly Jamey but some of these guys haven’t been active in the community for years now. All i can do is try my best though.
